Supervision and professional development
Dr Turner offers clinical supervision, peer supervision, and tailored professional development for psychologists working with OCD, BDD, tics, and anxiety disorders.
Clinical supervision
Supervision is offered to registered psychologists, registrars working toward Clinical endorsement, and provisional psychologists. Sessions are typically fortnightly or monthly, in person at the Annerley clinic or via telehealth.
Supervision is grounded in case formulation, evidence-based protocols (ERP, CBIT, CBT for anxiety and BDD), and reflective practice. Group supervision and peer-supervision facilitation are also available.
Education and training
Available formats include in-house clinic training, conference presentations, and tailored workshops. Common topics:
- ERP for adult and paediatric OCD
- CBT for body dysmorphic disorder, including adolescent presentations
- Muscle dysmorphia: recognition and treatment
- Habit reversal training and CBIT for tic disorders
- Family-involved treatment and family accommodation
- Delivering ERP via telehealth
