Portrait of Blake Pyne

Provisional Psychologist

Blake Pyne

Blake is a Provisional Psychologist working at The Moore Centre under the supervision of our senior clinical psychologists, Dr Cynthia Turner and Dr Beth O'Gorman. Blake believes therapy works best when people feel truly heard and understood, so he creates a relaxed, down-to-earth space where clients can be themselves. Blake works with children, adolescents, and adults, and has a particular interest in supporting people through tic disorders, OCD, anxiety and depression. He draws on evidence-based approaches and tailors each session to the person in front of him, focusing on their strengths, goals, and what matters most to them. Building a genuine, trusting relationship is at the heart of how he works, helping clients better understand themselves and move toward meaningful change. When working with young people, Blake knows how much families and support networks matter, and loves partnering with them to help kids and teens thrive both in and beyond the therapy room. Outside the clinic, Blake contributes to research in parenting and family psychology, driven by a belief that good therapy is grounded in good evidence. When he's not working, you'll find him playing futsal, spending time with family and friends, watching films, or dabbling in graphic design. Blake is completing a Master of Clinical Psychology and will finish his clinical training at the end of 2026, before being fully registered next year. Because he is not yet fully registered, a Medicare rebate is not available for his sessions in 2026, so his fee is significantly reduced to keep care affordable ($80 per session).

Provisional Psychologist

Andrew Crawford

Andrew is a Provisional Psychologist, working at The Moore Centre under the supervision of our senior clinical psychologists, Dr Cynthia Turner and Dr Beth O'Gorman. He has worked across public hospitals, university psychology clinics, and schools, supporting children, teens, and adults through a range of challenges. Andrew's therapeutic approach draws on Cognitive Behaviour Therapy (CBT), Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT), and Schema Therapy; but more than any particular technique, he's focused on building a genuine connection with each client and family, and working together toward what matters most to them. Andrew has also contributed to published research looking at how screen time and video gaming affect children's wellbeing, so he brings an informed, up-to-date perspective on issues many families are navigating right now. As a father of two young children himself, Andrew understands firsthand what parenting can throw at you — the tough days and the good ones. That personal insight, paired with his clinical training, helps him create a warm, down-to-earth space where kids, teens, and parents alike feel genuinely understood. Andrew is completing a Master of Clinical Psychology and will finish his clinical training at the end of 2026, before being fully registered next year. Because he is not yet fully registered, a Medicare rebate is not available for his sessions in 2026, so his fee is significantly reduced to keep care affordable ($80 per session).
